I brought my 7 yr old in with a high fever and bad headaches. Dr. Rodriguez in the ER ordered him a chest X-ray. Hmm why I don't know but she said his X-ray was clear as was his uri e and it's probably viral. I asked her to do blood work as his symptoms where not consistent with a viral infection and I want to make sure we aren't missing anything! She refused! I said I know my son something is wrong with him and she said she isn't going to subject him to a needle because I wanted her to. (But she has no problem subjecting him to radiation and possible Sepsis if she is wrong about it not being bacterial) Well guess what Doc you were wrong! I took my son straight to another hospital (because I didn't trust her and I was right) he was admitted for a dental abscess. By the time he was seen in the 2nd ER his fever was back up to 104.7. Dr Rodriguez get off your horse and listen to your patients. My son could have died because of your dismissive attitude! When a parent tells you something is… wrong go the extra step and run an extra text it could save someone's life. The incompetence is astounding! Dr Rodriguez should be ashamed of herself and the community should be afraid!!
