Dr. Marissa Mcknight Lovio

As someone who understands that doctors are humans and prone to mistakes, Dr. Lovio is not professional or well versed in her profession. I had a surgery scheduled with her and 3 appointments prior (per her request) to the surgery. She agreed to not biopsy and move forward with the surgery. 22 hours prior to the surgery that was scheduled for 3 months she contacted me to cancel saying she wanted to do a biopsy based on her colleagues recommendation. There were no new test results, no new symptoms, nothing to indicate needing one all of a sudden. Insurance had approved everything etc. I would have understood if this was due to an actual reason, or she needed the day off even, but to delay this for another few MONTHS is unacceptable and even more so for not having the foresight to make this determination right before the surgery when she had months to change her mind. She lacks the understanding of her work to not make this determination until the last minute.
