Dr. Marissa A Maclin, MD

Being a 2 time cancer survivor treatment has left me with a lot of chronic pain. This woman would not listen to one word as I described my condition. I’ve dealt with physicians all my life. I’ve never been treated like a drug seeker before. It was insulting. Before I was able to see her I had to pay $130. I was in there for 5 min and I had enough. I didn’t leave quietly and let her know and other patients what a terrible dr she was. Buffalo Medical Group also had the nerve to bill me another $60. Patient care does not exist at this place. Just because someone is a doctor it doesn’t mean they know everything. Stand up for yourself. She sucks

I have been seeing Dr. Maclin since she started at buffalo medical group..she is a wonderful doctor. She has always taken the time to answer all my questions. She has a great personality! Between the medication and injections my back is pain free.

Terrible doctor. Messed up a procedure on me and took way longer. Fake personality. Stay away!!!

Very poor visit , compassion she is lacking. I do not see why she is still with the good physicians of the BMG!

Dr. Maclin is by far the worst doctor I've ever encountered in my life!! She took it upon herself to stop a medication I've been on for over 4 years without even discussing it with me. I went to the pharmacy and picked it up and the pharmacist told me tht she wrote the script for 14 days then stop it. When I called the office to inquire about it she refused to talk to me. She had her staff tell me that she will no longer see me or fill my medication and to go to my primary doctor! And this was 2 days before I had a scheduled appointment with her and a Friday so of course the primary doctor wasn't in over the weekend! I don't know why she chose this career path because she's obviously NOT doing it to help people!! She is the most unethical, incompassionate doctor I've ever seen!! She needs to go back to medical school and learn how to treat patients! She is an absolute disgrace to the medical profession!!!!

Dr Maclin should not be practicing pain management. You can’t treat every patient exactly the same. She wouldn’t listen and it seemed that she didn’t believe anything I was trying to tell her. Having dealing with so many Drs since I was 14 because I am a 2 time cancer survivor she is by far the worst one I’ve ever dealt with. The is no compassion at all. She needs to go back to school and study about long term effects of cancer survivors. It was obvious she had no knowledge what so ever. So far my experiences at Buffalo Medical Group has been nothing but just plain terrible.

Was supposed to be weaned off narcotics. Abandoned my last 2 weeks claiming I was not in her computer system. Which is odd. Because I am a client of ALL Buffalo med. Group Drs. Told me to call my primary. Who is great. But doesn't prescribe narcotics. Unethical, unpredictable, unprofessional.

I had the not so pleasurable experience with her services two time. The first visit seemed to go ok, was with my husband, gave her all information with regards to my issues including doctors names and those doctors that referred me to a pain management. Said she was going to write a letter to my primary doctor asking him to continue my pain meds because she felt she could not help me. She still made me make an appointment with her for 4 months. By the way, during the 1st month I contacted my primary he said he did not receive anything from her; then I called her back was told she would discuss it at our next visit. Went back for my second visit, boy her tone changed and she told me she wanted me to go see someone that will help me cope with the pain and was I aware that pain is not real it is mind over matter! I told her my pain was real and I cope with it everyday. She then said that because I refused her recommendation that she could no longer have me as a patient. Are you kidding me… really!!!! Then she said, well why don't we have you take the drug test. I said, why if you are no longer going to treat me! She said, that's you second refusal so now I will have to ask you to leave now. As you can imagine I lost it so things did not go well from that point on!!!!! FYI - if you are in The Buffalo Medical Group not only did she terminate me as a patient so did my primary Dr. Caerosso of Buffalo Medical Group!
