Very knowledgeable and attentive . Will definitely return

Dr. Racovan has helped myself and my husband this year. We are new patients for him. I think he is very knowledgeable. He has a great bedside manner. I think he is kind and empathetic. He listens to us. He reviews our chart before entering the exam room and is up to date on our cases. He is great at explaining his plan for us and why he is ordering labs/x-rays. We both think he is great!!!

Each visit I waited in the exam room for 25-40 minutes. He didn't seem up to date with current best practices. He was terse with poor bedside manner. I felt like he was always mad about something. Medical support staff were only medical assistants. In Rheumatology I think you need at the minimum an LPN.

Dr Racovan is not into helping his patients. He does not care if you have pain. He does not care if you are suffering. He doesnt believe you. He is very cold. He has no patience or sympathy. He never smiles or even looks at you when he is talking. He gets aggravated if you ask him a question or if he has to repeat himself. He doesnt want to help you! Now be an obedient patient and dont ask questions, you dont need to know what is going on with you and suffer in pain and dont anger the doctor!

I saw Dr Racovan one time after my previous rheumatologist left the practice. He seems competent, but lacks a warmth and compassionate manner. He asked me what benefit I was getting from my hand pain. Well, I have trouble at work. I worry about my job. It is hard to cook, open things, change my baby’s diaper and I suffer from horrible fatigue. He then told me that my previous diagnosis of RA was wrong because my blood work didn’t show it. He changed my meds and three months later I was unable to dress myself, undo the waist of my pants to go to the bathroom by myself, cook, drive or use my hands at all. My PCP got me in emergently to another rheumatologist. He disagreed with Dr Racovan, put me on high dose steroids and off work for three weeks till I could function again. I am never going back to Dr Racovan. I need to function in my life and he is not committed to helping me do that.

very excellent doctord, he listened to what I had to saysay then went right to work on my Symptoms doing a thorough exam running test and came up with a treatment plan that has worked I highly recommend him to anybody including my own mother.

Dr Marius Racovan has NO empathy for his patients. He will let you suffer needlessly. He will not listen but demands to be listened to. While I was having labs drawn, the phlebotomist volunteered that she herself had seen Dr Marius Racovan. The phlebotomist was a 27 year old female. She saw Dr Marius Racovan 3 times. He told her that no 27 year old lupus patient could have all the symptoms she was complaining of. Like myself, she switched to a caring, competent physician.

Very thorough, professional! Can't believe this doctor could receive anything but the highest marks.

He was rude, and basically talked down to me and there was no reason for him to be like that.
