Dr. Marjan Hedayatzadeh, MD

Do not see Dr Marjan. Gave me an unnecessary c section and completely botched my son's circumcision that she did years ago. And he is still paying the price for her inexperience. Still fuming after years....

I feel very strongly about this review. Dr. Marjan has great bedside manner but she is way too inexperienced and really should be 'guided' and supervised more by Dr. Violi. Like a previous review, I do not want to get into details but several things she has told me about my journey to fertility have been utter nonsense. She also has a tendency to just skip to procedure after procedure without even asking basic questions like "do you ovulate on your own?" or "do you have regular periods". She is quick to diagnose- most often incorrectly- and seems to have an a+b=c attitude to medicine- ie.- this is the next step no matter what the specifics. I attribute this more to her inexperience than anything else. She's text book, but basic text book. She may be a wonderful dr in 5-10 years, but for now... stay away. Had I not asked for a second and even third opinion, I would have been duped into going through many things that were completely unnecessary. I cannot imagine trusting her with my… body again or even worse, my pregnant body or delivery!

The office staff was not only friendly and polite but Dr. Marjan had a great bedside manner. That was the easier Pap smear I have ever had. Her and her staff made me feel truly comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend her to any women.

After many visits with Dr Marjan I have decided to switch practices. I don't want to get into details but I questioned some of Dr Marian's advice and after confirming it with other OBGYN physicians have found her to be unsatisfactory and will be leaving her practice.

My wife had an easy pregnancy for the first eight months. Then in month nine developed severe swelling that many people, including my wife and her mother (both medical professionals), were VERY concerned about. Dr Marjan kept reasurring her that it was "normal swelling". It was surely not as she could barely function, gaining 35+ pounds in less then 4 weeks. She then tested positive for trace proteins in urine on her last OBGYN appoinment, and again Marjan said "NO problem"! Because of Dr Marjan's inexperience of seeing signs and symptoms we had a hellish next several days and nights with my wife having preeclampsia turning into HELLP. Both my wife and baby were in the ICU. We were told our baby which we hope is fine has a chance of developing cerebral palsy as a result of the labor process. Dr. Marjan did not come to see us to debrief until over 36 hours later only when Dr Violi (practice owner) insisted she come into the room with her to explain the situation.

Love the staff love the doctor! We need more doctors like dr Marjan wonderful women!!! Best Obgyn I would recommend her to everyone who needs to see a Obgyn. Keep up the good work dr Marjan H

I visited Dr. H. to discuss a sensitive GYN issue and found her immediately to be approachable, caring, and thorough. She's extremely easy to talk to. She took a detailed history and offered several choices. We developed a plan for the next several months with contingencies in case of side effects. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit, which is something I don't ordinary say for doctors!
