Over several years has provided outstanding treatment

Careless practice, particularly with regard to scheduling. Patients have to schedule months in advance to get an appointment, and even then, the office regularly cancels on the patient. I’ve had two appointments cancelled on short notice, with no explanation other than “the doctor is out for the day.” The front desk does not even accommodate their cancelation by reserving a new date for you and only offers a new appointment months later. Of course with no guarantee that time will be honored. The receptionist I spoke with today to reschedule, Arlene, rudely tried to place the blame on me for missing a call from the office a month ago to sort out the schedule, but my call record shows no missed calls. Why is it even this difficult to see the doctor? People are busy, and an appointment is an appointment. Not an optional visitation. If you really need to see a doctor, it would be easier and wiser to find a practice that keeps appointments. This office is careless and clearly does not… value the patient’s time and concerns.

I have a disfiguring condition and as soon as she diagnosed me she was trying to hold in her laughter. When she was leaving, all she could say was "Have a nice day." It also took multiple visits to diagnose me. Just socially inept and clueless. On top of that she's a heartless jerk.

In my experience, the front desk in Arlington is unkind (at best), dishonest (at worst). Also Dr. Yousefi does not take the time to follow-up with patients over the phone when requested. Recently, my pharmacy faxed a prescription refill request to Dr. Yousefi's office twice because the office did not respond to the first request. When I called Dr. Yousefi's office to ask why they did not respond to the refill request, the front office assistant claimed the office never received a fax. The next day, my pharmacist called the office to verify that the fax was successfully transmitted more than a week earlier. My pharmacist later notified me that the office assistant was rude, continued to deny receiving the faxes, and said the prescription would only be refilled with another office visit. I would NOT recommend Dr. Yousefi's office, which seems to care more about making money with unnecessary office visits instead of taking care of patients. I had asked the office assistant if… Dr. Yousefi or a nursing assistant would call me back so I could explain my situation, but no one bothered to return my call. I will be finding another dermatologist. Do not waste your time or money.

A prescription I needed had been called into the wrong pharmacy. Contacted the office and asked a new script be called to my pharmacy. I was told the prescription could be transferred. The initial pharmacy informed new pharmacy there was no prescription available to transfer. This situation went back and forth for 3 days and in the end I never was able to get my prescription through their office. It could have been easily rectified by calling in a new script, which they refused to do.

Wonderful staff friendly, courteous, professional.

Dr. Yousefi was organized and thorough - I had an eight item list and she addressed all of these items in detail as well as doing a complete skin check. She took her time and gave a thorough examination. Front desk was helpful. Only problem was a long 40 minute wait. Office is convenient and has free parking.
