Dr. Marjorie Gonzales

Not such a good experience. My wife and I started seeing Dr Gonzales in 2024. The office was a bit backwards for the 21th century but we could live with that. The situation we cannot live with is the fact that Dr Gonzales stopped taking our insurance in January of 2025. We scheduled our yearly physicals in May 2025. At that time Dr Gonzales office took our copay like they always have with no mention that they did not accept our insurance. In August 2025 I had a follow up appointment. Two days before this appointment I received a bill from Dr Gonzales for $337. When I checked the insurance claim online, it stated she was no longer "in network". When we showed up for my appointment it was confirmed, her office no longer accepted our insurance and they did not seem to be concerned that this fact was not relayed to us for over 8 months. I find this very unprofessional. We never once got an apology. From a medical perspective, I was not impressed either. Dr Gonzales missed… several key test for both me and my wife. One example is a PSA test for males. I have been having this test yearly since I was 50. All of a sudden she did not prescribe this test with the battery of test I normally receive yearly with my physical. When we looked at the test results I was very surprised that this was missing since I do not want to die from colon cancer. When confronted, it was brushed off. So now I have to double check Dr Gonzales' work to make sure I get the correct testing every year, spend extra money on laboratory co-payments, and time scheduling and going to have blood drawn just because Dr Gonzales cannot remember how to do her job? Unreal! This was my experience. In my opinion it is a blessing in disguise that Dr Gonzales stopped taking our insurance. We most likely would have had to find another primary care physician due to the shortcomings experienced by us.

I've been a patient of Dr. G for over 20 years. She has consistently provided excellent care and advice. Although I've been blessed with general good health, she takes the time to go over everything that affects my health during check-ups, including my diet, habits, etc. She looks for root causes and solutions, and is not a pill-pusher. On top of that, she is easy to talk to, down to earth, and has a great sense of humor. The two wonderful ladies in her office, and her assistant Miguel, have been with her forever, and are always professional and pleasant. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Dr Gonzales is such a thorough and caring physician.

Extremely unprofessional, I called on a Tuesday to speak to my doctor and get a referral and either she is ignoring me and refuse to return my call or her staff refuse to give her my message, I'm not sure which one because a week later, I still have not had any of my calls returned from their office. When I address my concerns they either stay silent because they know they are wrong or try to redirect me. unfortunately I had to leave this practice because of their neglect.

I have been a patient for over 20 years. Dr. Gonzales is extremely competent, keeps up with her medical knowledge and is low key, very warm and caring. She has great insight into her patient's issues and their best treatment. I would recommend her unequivocally.

Worst doctor I ever met Avoid this doctor if you want to live

Are you kidding me? She is the worst! She minimizes your condition, is cluless and misses MAJOR illnessses with catastrophic consequences. She likes uninformed patients- they wont know how stupid she is. Amy, her office manager is a real idiot and dysfunctional abusive person.

Dr. Gonzalez is well-rounded, very educated,extremely compassionate, caring Physician. You never feel rushed through an appointment. Her office hours are very flexible and she always returns phone calls. She is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in detail. I highly recommend her!

I am sad to say how really inappropriate one of the Office Staff was. In addition, after years of hanging in there, I finally went to a specialist who told me that this doctor wasnt right.I trusted Dr G and truly cared about her because I think she was right about everything. But for some reason, she turned on me claiming I went to her partner, which I didnt. I was a good patient there never complaining and always paid my bills the same day. But for some reason she got really nasty and it scared me. I think she owes me an apologize and feel she may be too labile to practice right now. Really she should take a leave of absence
