Dr Pilkinton saw me in her office for Uterine prolapse, possibly prolapse bladder, and rectocele. She was very attentive to my questions and concerns. She did an exam in the office and a test at the hospital to be sure of what treatment I needed. She saw me the day before surgery to reck bladder and exam. Due to low white cell count she decided to postpone surgery and me to see hematologist and upon his findings then if he gave clearance proceed with surgery. The following week I had surgery at Norton Suburban Women and Childrens Hosp. I was a 24hr observation and then home. On the Friday after surgery pain in my low back and pelvic area. She had me come to her office immediately and they checked for any urinary infection and proceeded to treat me with rectal suppositories for the spasms and pain. She was very informative and had me lay in her office whilevmy husband went to hospital pharmacy to get meds. Husband came back and they said it would be 2 weeks before they would have… medication. Called a Parmacy in the Dupont area who made specialty products and we got them there. Believe me when I say she was awesome with her treatment and care! I would highly recommend her for female problem areas as she was very concerned and expressed her recommendations without hesitation! I worked OB/GYN for over 15 years and I can truly say see her if you are having problems! Thank you Dr Pilkinton and your staff for your amazing care and kindness!

I was very nervous about my first visit, just due to the nature of my medical problems at the time. Her staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Some people may prefer a doctor that is guarded and laid back about their treatments. Dr. Pilkinton is the total opposite and I love it. She is blunt, to the point and didn't waste time with trying to sugar coat anything. PERFECT. My surgery went well, all of my problems that I had before are all gone and I feel 100x better.
