Dr. Marjorie Szeto, MD

Dr. Szeto helped mt wife from the date she conceived and she was the doctor who did the surgery for my wife. Dr. Szeto, has always been kind patient and more over a well wisher and treated us like a family member. I recommend this doctor and i am surprised seeing some of the bad reviews on her and she is the best Gynecologist in the Fairfield County.

I just saw Dr. Szeto and am extremely surprised to see bad reviews here. She was just lovely. Friendly and explained everything very well.

Dr. Szeto has been my doctor for 19 years. She was the first and only doctor to diagnose me with something all the other doctors missed. She might be quick in the exam room but I appreciate that...and if I need to talk or have questions about the changes occuring in my life now, she discusses it with me. She is always respectful of my decisions even though she may not agree. I moved away from Fairfield County 10 years ago, but continue to travel 2 hours to see her.

One of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Awful bedside manner, does not care or listen, rushed, rude, obnoxious. I have no idea why someone like this becomes a doctor.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!! If you are looking for a new GYN, please do yourself an favor, run away from her. She has no heart for her patients, she is in this business just for $$$. She is rude, and has no manner. And when you question her, she will yell at you. I only had one annual check up with her, she was super quick, in and out less than 5 min. And she will prescribe expense medicine even it's not necessary, I guess she is motivated by the commission. Worst Dr. ever, and I can't believe she is even a doctor. She works at the Avery Women health center, it makes me feel questionable about this place as it hires a doctor like her.

Staff was great and friendly. Not a great experience with Dr Szeto herself. After saying hello she asked how I heard of her, I replied from Google. She then proceeded to tell me how I could find her on CT top docs and some other magazine and that she was rated one of the best OBGYN's in the area. This was an immediate turn off. Visit was really quick and impersonal. I guess I'm used to my old physician who told me what she was doing every step of the way. To my surprise she gave me a digital rectal exam with no warning. I did hear great things about the other physicians in the practice so I will continue my care with someone else.

IF SHE IS YOUR DOCTOR I WARN YOU TO LEAVE THIS PRACTICE ASAP!!!!!! It's dirty, the staff is rude, young and immature!! This place is run by students! She takes forever to see me when I go for my visits and then spends 5 minutes with me! She smells bad! she doesn't take the time to get to know me, she has me come back every couple weeks for "follow up" appointments that are a waste of time! She is a pathological liar!!! She is only there for the money and you are just a check for her! Find another doctor ASAP!!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Szeto for many years. She has always shown genuine concern for my health. She was always very proficient in monitoring and tracking my test results. I always felt I could trust her to give me all the test I needed with out me having to ask. She even called me once when I failed to do a follow up on a breast examination. She also always returned my calls and answered my questions. She is a very experienced and caring doctor.

Dr. Szeto has absolutely no bed time manner, is rude, disrespectful, and seems as though she is only there to cash a check. My first visit she didn't even sit down to chat or get to know me and was in and out in 5 minutes after making me sit in the checkup room with just the gown on for almost an hour. I had an issue with my pap and when she called me back she wouldn't answer any questions and was rude and put me back to the administrator to book an appt. I felt the need to go back to her to have the second test done since she had done the pap smear. She gave me no info about what not to do before or after the test and gave me little info about what would happen during it. I had to research online myself. She is the worst dr. i have ever been to and highly suggest you go elsewhere if you are looking for a new gyno.

Unfortunately, although I have tried to give Dr. Szeto the benefit of the doubt on several occasssions I have finally determined that she has an awful bedside manner. Each time I have seen her, she rushes through my appointment, barely allows me to ask a question, interrupts me when I do attempt to inquire about something, minimizes my valid concerns, and dismisses me as if I'm just another number. I went into the hospital for a procedure, where she was the surgeon and she didn't even remember that I was her patient. I finally decided that she was not the doctor I want overseeing my health.
