She has zero empathy, a very cold human

Dr. Z deals with tough diseases and often has to share difficult news. She is kind and patient throughout. She has even given me her cell phone number in emergency situations. Her waiting room is full of patients who adore her. I am shocked by some of the negative posts here -- I can't help but feel that some people want a doctor who lies to them. She definitely isn't that, which I think is a good thing.

If you are looking for a compassionate and kind doctor who really cares for and about her patients, Dr. Zauderer is not the one for you.

I know these reviews are subjective but I am shocked to read the negative comments. Dr. Z treats tough diseases and is honest about expectations. It’s not her fault that she has to tell people unpleasant things. In my experience, she has always handled these moments with kindness, compassion and professionalism. Her waiting room is full of people who love her. If you want a doctor who will lie to you because that’s what you want to hear, then she’s not for you. But, if you can handle the truth, there’s no one better to see you through it.

She spent a tremendous amount of time with me and my husband. She is clearly very knowledgeable about the diseases she treats. Even when sharing information we didn't want to hear, her delivery was honest but gentle and kind.

She's wonderful. Exceptionally patient. Always available. She is kind and thoughtful.

I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She is so patient and kind. She goes above and beyond at every visit. She is always accessible. My whole family adores her as do all of the patients in the waiting room. Also, all of the staff at MSK say they would send their loved ones to her -- the highest endorsement possible!!

I have to agree with some of the reviews. Awful doctor with a terrible bedside manner. She doesn't seem to care about her patients one iota. MSK should be ashamed to have such a doctor on their staff.

She's amazing. So kind and patient. She answers all my questions and always returns calls.
