Dr. Mark-Alan Dominic Pizzini, MD

I joined the division of anesthesiology at Fox Chase in 1998. Since then, I have enjoyed the opportunity to practice quality patient care within the surgical oncology specialty. At Fox Chase, the team approach to health care has always been of paramount importance, allowing for the best care of our patients. In our work with surgical patients, we strive to provide excellence in pain control in the perioperative setting [occurring during or around the time of surgery] with the goal of minimizing patient discomfort. To this end, our division uses the latest in post-operative pain control techniques and medications. This includes continuous epidural analgesia, nerve blocks and continuous catheters. I strive to treat every patient with compassion and care to provide not only excellence in the operating room, but excellence in their post-operative care and pain control as well.
