Dr. Mark Anderson did major back surgery on me in Sept. 2020. I could not have asked for a better outcome. Dr. Anderson is the best! He is very thorough, professional and his expertise is beyond amazing! Thank you Dr. Anderson!

Dr. Mark Anderson truly saved me! I am very grateful to have met such a brilliantly educated man who is extremely passionate about neurosurgery and helping others get of their miserable pain. I have gone to see several doctors here in Orange County and all they wanted to do was put me on pain meds and the orthopedic doctors I did consults with wanted to perform two separate surgeries! Dealing with these doctors was ridiculous and a waste of my time and money.I researched more about Dr. Mark E. Anderson and right then I knew I had to see him. This amazing man, Dr. Anderson performed a 3 level lumbar fusion. My recovery was very well and every step of the way Dr. Anderson made sure I understood everything - I mean everything from the beginning of the first consult all the way to the morning of surgery and right when I woke up from surgery. Dr. Anderson is a true blessing and truly saved me from all the agonizing pain I was living with for the past 6 years. I am glad I ignored these… silly bad reviews and made the choice to see him. I am now pain free, no back pain at all and I have a second chance at life. Thank you Dr. Anderson and staff.

There are a lot of better options in OC. This doctors reputation within the community isn’t the best. Most of the doctors I talk to about him roll their eyes or give me referrals to other docs. I went and saw him and I got the creeps. I honestly felt like I couldn’t leave fast enough.

I suffered for over 15 years with excruciating back pain at my cervical region as well as my lower lumbar suffering with spondylolisthesis, degenerative discs, broken vertebrae, fractured vertebrae; @ C4 & C5 region I could barely walk to the restroom. After seeking out over 9 different neurosurgeons all over the nation including Mayo clinic on the East coast as well as John Hopkins hospital the two top surgeons there who didn't have any positive outcome to tell me after my interview with them once I got back to the West coast and interviewed a number of top surgeons here @ Cedar-Sinai/UCLA, UC Irvine I finally got ahold of someone who came highly regarded and recommended by a member of the neurosurgeons that I asked them if they had all the problems I'm dealing with who would they go to....Dr. Mark Anderson was 3 different surgeons choice! He was fascinatingly brilliant and a wealth of information. After the second surgery I knew immediately once I woke up from the 8 hour operation… that he had cured my issues and fix my back the pain was completely gone and that to me was a miracle! It has been over 8 years and I haven't felt a stitch of any pain whatsoever within both of those regions. I just can't say enough about how grateful I am to have someone like dr. Mark Anderson available for me at that time.

It’s been 3 months today since I had my successful cervical fusion surgery with Dr. Anderson. If I would make this decision a 100 more times I would go for him. I’ve been suffering from agonizing neck pain & numbness in both arms for years. I was so scared to have a surgery. His confidence, scientific clear explanation of the procedure and his many years of experience made a hard decision easy. I had the best experience with him patiently answering every question in every visit, his sense of humor and his genuine care. I also had a very pleasant experience with his office staff namely Kate & Karen. They are very willing to help in a very professional manner. They don’t have time to waste. Very very well organized with paper work, authorizations, appointments, medication refills, etc. I also had a very positive experience with Anaheim Regional Medical Center staff. Outstanding anesthesiologist, super caring & attentive nurses & staff in general. I am very grateful that the grace of God… led me to you Dr. Anderson. My 9 thousand dollar procedure, a verbal quote from Dr. Anderson went to 15,000. A 5 min. chat before my 1st cyberkife treatment has now been billed at $2,500. A little steep for my basic instinct of what constitutes fair medical practices. Kate is very rude on the phone. She has no softness in her voice. She should get another job where she doesn't.have to deal with people. She obviously thinks she is doing you a big favor talking to you. You in the medical profession seem to forget that YOU WORK FOR ME. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I'M FIRING YOU.

I have had three surgeries by Dr Anderson, each time the outcome was great. He takes every precaution to ensure the best results for his patients.

My wife and I both had cervical fusion surgeries in the past with DR Anderson. most recently I had anothef cervical fusion that the doctor said we'd have to do sometime later. It's been 11 yrs later and I wouldn't have anybody else do this surgery. People say that Dr Andetson doesn't have a good bed side manner. We think he's mellowed through the years but that's not what's important. All we care about is that he has the best hands to perform this surgeries and we trust his knowledge and expertise. We recommend him to anyone!

Dr Anderson is straight forward and an extraordinary Neurosurgeon. He's a genius - if you want a someone to give you your life back, he's the guy. I love his staff - Kate is awesome. I have no idea where some of these negative posts are coming from, unless you're a baby and need coddling - he's a Neurosurgeon not a babysitter. If you need stroking, call your Mommy. If you want to be cured of pain, call Dr Anderson. They are professional and don't tolerant nonsense from the hospital or its staff.
