Dr. Mark Monroe Anderson, MD

This was preventive care paid at 100% with Cigna, however Dr. M.M. Anderson changed the Facility Code to another code which resulted in $1000’’s dollars in bills from several different medical billing companies. This was for one colonoscopy at Baptist East!

The waiting room at Baptist East, where Dr. Mark Anderson was sees payients twice a week, was literally SRO. Had it not been for the privacy of the more than 20-plus patients and equal number of family members required to wait, I would have taken photos. Speaking of privacy, there is an absolute travesty when it comes to that with respect to the HIPPA. Baptist East clearly does NOT care about patient privacy, from the broken sliding door, to the intake personnel's preference to not close the door, to the huge transom over the sign-in desk. All of these allow for each and every patients personal information and health profile to be heard by the people waiting in the overcrowded waiting room. Why this dump of a doctor's office has not been the subject of a class action suit for it's gross HIPPA violations is beyond me. (And yes, I'm certainly considering just such action.) There is also a numbering system. One gets a card with a four-digit number. Why? Who knows? I tried to ask the… zombie behind the glass, but he couldn't tell me anything. Seriously, this place is what keeps Montgomery being the butt of the country's jokes. Yeah, I said it, and sadly, it's too true.

Did not know Dr. Anderson until husband ended up in ICU with internal bleeding. He is a knowledgeable, skillful doctor, but most importantly he interacts with patient and family in a way that gives assurance during a difficult time. What a blessing!

I've used Dr. Anderson for many colonoscopies and endoscopies. I referred my family to him and they use him for the same procedures. I feel totally trustful of his expertise. I am very thankful that when asked, he would pray with me before each procedure. I personally refer him to anyone reading this for their future procedures.
