Asperheim is a very helpful doctor who was willing to diagnose and treat my various joint issues.

didn't even feel like he addressed my medical issues in a while... or even reviewed and talked to me in detail about findings in the current MRI and then would not address or give me any paperwork regarding my visit.

Excellent service and bedside manner

Great Experience. First experience at an orthopedic doctor. Appointment was on time, X-ray taken and doctor showed me X-ray and explained my problem very well. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. Staff was excellent and very helpful. I was very comfortable and received excellent care and attention.

One of the best doctors I have ever had. I had been refused a knee replacement due to my weight but after having both knees replace I was able to lose nearly 200 pounds. He was the only one who was sympathetic to my pain.

Dr Asperheim had me waiting over 45 mins, then he comes in and rushes through my appointment, talks over me, rolls his eyes several times while talking, and while he says I have major damage in my knee refuses to do surgery because of my weight and leaves. WAIST OF TIME on a WORTHLESS POS...go see his other bad reviews...im not alone!

This was my first visit at orthopedic associates of Michigan and I had a great experience! Mark was a great doctor and knew his expertise.

I injured both of my knees, and Dr. Asperheim and repaired them. I saw him numerous times in his office for pre and post surgery care. He was on time, and honest about my condition and prognosis. He was also unrushed and caring, and deeply knowledgeable about my injuries and what I needed to do to recover and stay healthy. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I was a baby when he worked on me I was born with Bilateral Clubbed Feet & all he did was make them worse. He cut my Achilles’ tendons in both sides & now my muscles don’t work properly also thought pins would help but they didn’t. Would not recommend

I took my 10 year old son to Dr. Asperheim after he was involved in a minor dirt bike accident and had pain in his right knee. Dr. Asperheim did even examine my son and just took radiographs which showed no fractures so we were told that my son needed to rest for a few weeks. After no improvement, we went back to Dr. Asperheim a few months later at which time he AGAIN did not examine my son and said that there was nothing wrong with him. I asked Dr. Asperheim whether my son could have torn his ACL and requested an MRI. Asperheim said that there is no way my son could have a torn ACL because "kids don't tear their ACLs." He also outright refused to order an MRI for my son. We went back and forth with Asperheim for two years. During this time he NEVER performed an exam on my son. I figured that he knew what he was doing because he specialized in pediatric orthopedics. Finally, a friend referred us to another surgeon in GR for a second opinion. This surgeon actually DID AN EXAM… on my son and within 5 minutes diagnosed him with a fully torn ACL! He sent us for an MRI where it was confirmed and my son had surgery to repair it within a week. AVOID DR. ASPERHEIM AT ALL COSTS! HE IS AN ARROGANT PHYSICIAN WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING!!!
