Dr. Mark Edward Ates, MD

The doctor refers me to other specialists all the time. He wouldn’t even give me a prescription for migraines. He doesn’t listen to you, he acts as though he’s just ignoring you. He has the personality of a road.

It’s past time for Dr. Ates to retire, My Dad always said if you ain’t got something good to say about someone then don’t say anything at all, so I’ll leave it at that. Will be looking for a New primary Dr.

Just like most male doctors he tells you to "man up" or "just deal with it". I don't need to wait over a hour and pay 160 bucks for this professional information

Dr. Ates is a good, attentive, caring, and thorough doctor. I was glad to finally find him after trying 3 other doctors when first moving here. My husband has switched to Dr. Ates as his primary care physician as well. He saved my life by discovering an illness I did not know I had, and he has recently come through in the same way for my husband. We highly recommend him.

Don’t go to this guy. He doesn’t listen to you, was in and out within a couple minutes and has the bedside manner of a toad

Called to speak with the front desk to let them know I would be at my appointment at 9. Which is the time is was scheduled for. And was told since I wasn’t able to be earlier, I would not be seen today. Because I have to be in the room at 9. Not arriving at 9. The front desk woman was very rude and unprofessional over the phone. Haven’t been to see the doctor once and already changing physicians because of the way the situation was handled.

I was taken back within 5 minutes but then waited 45 minutes to see Dr. and even though I had been to see him on 2 prior occasions because of a health condition, he acted as though he didn't even want to discuss my reason for being there. And, even though I had been in hospital and diagnosed with heart failure he couldn't seem to understand why I had a cardiologist. Did not even offer to discuss blood test results or ask any questions. Within 5 minutes, after waiting 45 minutes, he ushered me out and said to come back in 3 months. Of course, I'm looking for a new doctor.

Doctor just referred me to other doctors.
