Dr. Mark Velimir Avdalovic, MD

I have been under Dr. Avdalovic's care for about eight years, after being released from Mercy San Juan, following a problem with my left lung (filled up with blood). I was misdiagnosed at the hospital, by a physician on duty, and put on a "program" that was not needed (inhalers, plus ALMOST put on oxygen). I sought out Dr. Avdalovic, due to his training in pulmonary conditions. After completing some tests he determined that it was not necessary to be on inhalers. Annual tests have continued to support that inhalers, nor oxygen, are needed. He is, absolutely, one of the best specialists I have ever had to deal with....the very best.

Dr.Avdalovic took time to explain what was happening with me and my treatment. He was positive and encouraging.

Dr Avdalovic was very professional and courteous. He seemed genuinely interested in my well being. One thing I appreciated was that he did not want to become too aggressive too quickly by going right into surgery without trying less intrusive means
