Dr. Mark Ayzenberg, MD

I had a very complex fracture of the left lower leg. Dr. Azynberg rushed to the hospital and operated me the same evening. I didn’t need to take any pain pills after surgery besides over the counter acetaminophen and ibuprofen just for a couple of days. Miracle. Today I was checked in the office .Everything looked great. Dr. Azynberg spent time explaining everything in details. I truly believe that our community is blessed to have such a professional and compassionate physician like Dr. Azynberg.

Dr. Ayzenberg is terrific. He is smart, attentive to details and is an excellent communicator. His conservative treatment approach is a welcome change from some of the other, larger ortho practices. In addition to treating me, he saw my 32 year old son for a second opinion on a shoulder issue. The other doctor, from one of those large practices, wanted to operate right away. Dr. A told my son surgery was a “hard no” and recommended PT which resolved the problem in a few weeks.

Dr Ayzenberg listened carefully and did not jump to a surgical option, which is exactly why I elected to go to him. His staff is professional and polite. This was an excellent initial visit.

Dr.Ayzenberg’s office is welcoming and very helpful. I trust Dr. Ayzenberg with my care. He is up to date on the latest treatments and is willing to take his time to discuss the options. I never feel rushed.

I went to Dr. Ayzenberg after being diagnosed with three partial tendon tears in my right shoulder. It was so painful I could not comb my hair. PT helped only marginally. Dr. A administered a series of PRP injections, and within two months, I was back in the gym. By six months, the pain was 90 percent reduced and I had resumed all my activities, including weightlifting, rowing, and kayaking. Dr. A is a great orthopedic physician—skilled, knowledgeable, and available to talk to his patients.

I trust Dr. Ayzenberg to present the best treatment options to me and to level with me. It's hard to have pain for a long time and he has empathy and is very knowledgeable so I'm hopeful some tweaks in my therapy plan will get me get back into shape. Grateful for his time and expertise!

Dr. Ayzenberg was a pleasure to work with. He reviewed my shoulder x-rays, explaining what he was seeing and performed tests of strength and range of motion. He recommended normal activities as it continued to heal from an impact and provided a script for physical therapy if needed in a couple of weeks. Dr. Ayzenberg is a relatively young physician willing to entertain new forms of treatment. In my case I have multiple locations of moderate to severe osteoarthritis accompanied by other medical problems that would complicate surgery. He is kind and empathetic, explains options clearly and thoroughly, and follows through with communication.
