Rude and unprofessional. Never again. I'll deal with the pain.

Dr. Beard found, treated and followed my husband's bladder cancer. 10 years later and going strong.

Unprofessional behavior.

Let me believe that I could have kidney tumors to keep me coming in for MRI scans. I finally read the radiologist's reports myself and found out I had a simple cyst. Beard said I had multiple cysts that could be tumors. What this proved is that he a.) either cannot read an MRI scan whatsoever yet diagnoses patients as if he can, or b.) he wanted me coming back for more and more scans. Run away from this "doctor".

I rarely write reviews but I feel it is my duty to write this one. Dr. Beard is extremely cold and rude. He acts like he has no time in the world for you and could not care any less. He made a grave medical error in my case then left me hanging and would not return any phone calls. Out of necessity I went to the ER and they were appalled at my condition. Would not recommend at all.

Unless your spouse or loved one is prepared to live the rest of his life impotent, get a second opinion. Always do your homework, take a close family member or friend with you, get copies of all medical records, and, above all, trust your gut. This doctor's verbal explanation of my husband's diagnosis did NOT square with the pathology results, his biopsy and follow up testing procedures were not up to current medical standards, and he was too quick to recommend radical surgical procedures. My husband and i found him to be alarmist in his approach and he appears to have no regard for quality of life issues that his patients may face following surgery.

Did a very thorough examination and prescribed medication and routines that have really helped me cope with my problems.The only drawback that I see is that he is much in demand and at times could be overburdened with patients.

Did not see Dr until over 24 hours after major surgery when asked why this doctor was very flippant. Does not look you in the eye, looks above you. does not follow up on reccomendations for care with nurses in hospital. Explanation to patient did not match notes in record. Very flippant about possible diagnosis of cancer. Did not perform procedure correctly now patient needs to have correct procedure done at expense of health with a different urologist. Overall--terrible in every aspect, no exageration.
