Dr. Mark Howard Berman, MD

Dr. Berman is the only doctor I will see after having gone to close to 40 doctors in the past several years for major chronic pain and surgeries to my neck. He is attentive, more knowledgeable than anyone in stem cell research and treatment of several of the conditions I suffer from and goes above and beyond to ensure his patients are treated and followed up on with the best care. I have had one stem cell procedure with him so far and it was comfortable and much less nerve wracking and painful than my previous one with another doctor. He always makes himself available to answer any questions and concerns I have (and I always have plenty) and he's not out there to make a buck off his patients or cut into them like plenty of surgeons and doctors out there. My hope has been re-instilled since beginning my treatment with him and I can't say anything but amazing things!

Dr. Mark Berman saved my life! I can’t say enough good things about him. I have suffered from a rare lung disease called Pulmonary Hypertension since 2008. My exhaustion was through the roof.… If I went to the grocery store (or any other single outing), I was done, and could only lay on my chase for the remainder of the day. I couldn’t cook or do any laundry. Quality of life had taken a turn for the worst. After talking with Dr. Berman we decided to try Stem Cell therapy. Dr Berman and his staff were so helpful and caring from the beginning when I enquired about treatment to end of the treatment and post-op care has been excellent as well. They are the type of organisation nothing would be a problem and they respond immediately to any after care and before care concerns. I worked with Dr. B over 18 years ago as his Surgical Tech. During that time, I had the privilege of getting to know him and his work, and that he is still what I consider to this day, to be one of the most trustworthy, forward thinking, genuinely caring, good natured, and skilled cosmetic surgeons I've known or worked with. So much so, that during my time as an employee, I had a procedure done, and if that isn't the highest form of endorsement, I don't know what is! I've always admired Dr. B's honesty and integrity, it's so rare in this industry and basically in life in general. I would see him literally turn prospective patients away if he felt they didn't need a procedure done or if he felt a certain procedure wouldn't be able to produce the result they were looking to achieve. I respected that and I still do, because the majority of cosmetic surgeons out there could care less and are happy to take your money. His approach has always been that of creating results that look… natural; his patients always looked better, but not in a way that pointed to "getting something done." Good cosmetic surgery is the kind where people can't tell that you've had a procedure, and I saw hundreds of thrilled patients and beautiful results under the care of Dr. B. He also repaired, reconstructed, and improved upon patients who would come in unhappy with results from other doctors. I also learned a lot about the unique challenges faced by surgeons when I would sit in on consultations. Like any surgery, cosmetic procedures are not an exact science, and doctors are not to be confused with magicians. It's also important to keep in mind that there is no physician on the planet capable of guaranteeing an exact result. I know first hand that people can be unrealistic and crazy with their expectations and desires, because ego and appearance comes with a lot of psychological baggage that, frankly, no surgery can fix. Each patient also comes with their starting point on which a surgeon has to work with, and the patients need to own the responsibility to follow pre and post operative instructions to ensure the best result. This is definitely not the place for the kind of people that want basketball sized breast implants to go with size zero waists, pulled back, scary looking Joan Rivers faces, overly injected swollen lips, or full body liposuction. There are PLENTY of unscrupulous doctors in Beverly Hills happy to oblige your crazy desires, they are a dime a dozen. Rest assured, you WILL NOT find that kind of result here (thank God). This IS the place if you want natural results and a doctor you can trust, friendly and caring front and back office staff that go ABOVE and BEYOND for their patients, and a doctor who has always remained on the cutting edge of techniques, both in cosmetic procedures, and important, life-changing advancements in the use of stem cell therapy. He has always been an innovator in using a patient's OWN tissue and cells as opposed to foreign materials, so it is exciting to see what he's doing to literally give patients back their lives - their mobility, freedom from pain, etc. as a result of his work. I confidently refer anyone looking to get a procedure done to Dr. B, and I am still a happy and satisfied patient of his to this day.

I have had breast augmentation for 43 years, my first set 20 years ago, second set 23 years ago and three months ago my third set which Dr. Berman re- placed my old implants with pocket protector and implants. Dr. Mark Berman is an exceptional Doctor with great knowleage and is the most innovative Plastic Surgeon I have ever experienced. Dr. Berman has given me exceptional natural feeling and looking breasts. Dr. Berman is very honest, caring, excellent bedside manner, along with a great office staff. Dr. Berman was recommended to me by a friend who had experience Dr. Berman excellence skills, that is why I choose Dr. Berman for my surgery.

I wasn't impressed. Dr. Berman seems nice but was super late and seemed very unorganized. I was just looking to fix a small issue but I felt like I got more of a sales pitch instead of a Doctor. No way would I ever consider him. Looking at some of the other reviews I think I might of been lucky. Also, he's not a Plastic Surgeon. He's not board certified in it. Important if that's what your looking for.

Dr. Berman is a fantastic surgeon, and his staff is equally wonderful. After having had 4 similar surgeries previously, performed by others, I was a bit apprehensive about this more extensive "reconstructive" surgery. Dr. Berman and his staff not only put my fears to rest with their warm manner and TLC, but the results are better than I could've hoped for! The results not only look and feel great, but more importantly I feel fantastic! Just two weeks after surgery I'm back at work, and feeling so little pain that I have to remind myself to take it easy. Dr. Berman and his staff exemplify the qualities of a medical practice.
