He is excellent. The only negative thing I can say is that he retired from his private practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Bernstein for thirteen years now. I had just been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and I myself knew very little about it at the time. He helped educate me, and thru the years has helped me find a combination of meds that work best for me. I was on the verge of suicide many times. During these times I have always been able to call and schedule an appointmet within the week. Dr. Bernstein is kind and has a deep understanding of the human psyche.

Doctor Bernstein was extremely instrumental in saving my life plain and simple. 20 years ago, I was an adolescent with severe depression issues that surfaced for no apparent reason. I have no doubt that I would have ended my life had I not received proper treatment from the good doc. This is my first written statement of my issues earlier in life and I am working up the courage to contact him to thank him personally.
