Dr. Mark Andrew Bilella, MD

My children and I have been patients of Dr. Bilella for 16 years, however I have not seen him for over 2 years due to a change in my insurance where he was not an in-network provider. My children have continued to see him, though (they have a different plan than me). I recently changed insurance again and he's in-network for me now. I called to schedule a physical and because I haven't seen him in over two years, I'm considered a "new patient" and must pay $100 for an "office visit" before I can have a physical. This is just a ridiculous effort to collect money, not provide patient care.

On several different office visits, I would describe my medical issue and his response would be: I have no idea what that is!

Terrible at diagnosing !

All of the doctors at this office are great. It does not matter which one you see they take their time and are thorough with your care. If you need to get an appointment or have medical questions the staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. Even when you call multiple times with questions they remain professional and courteous.

I'm a little shaky on his ability to properly diagnose adults with issues they may be having. I have seen this Dr. for a few years, usually b/c I had some sort of infection. I recently found out (by going to a differnt physician) that I had an underlying condition that was causing all of my illnesses. I feel like Dr. B. should have noticed all of the reoccuring office visits with the same complaint and been more willing to jump in and properly try to diagnose the problem rather than simply treating the symptoms.
