I am a 50+ year old former distance runner. I sought evaluation and care from Dr. Birmingham after suffering with reoccurring ankle pain for many years. I had previously sought care from multiple orthopedists, neurologists, massage, chiropractic and physical therapy professionals. I was VERY lucky to find Dr. Birmingham. He guided me through multiple diagnostic and care options, -- explaining all clearly and thoroughly. When none were successful in alleviating the pain, we agreed that the proper course of action was surgery. The personal care and attention I got from Dr. Birmingham and his staff were far and away the most quality and most pleasant health care I've ever received. I am happy to report that 6 weeks post-surgery, with the help of aggressive physical therapy, I am pain-free for the first time in 10 years. There is still a road to full-recovery, but I could not be happier with the result of diagnosis and treatment from Dr. Birmingham and his staff. Thank you!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Birmingham. First and most importantly, he very clearly knows his stuff. He is careful to explain his findings and opinions. He listens really well, takes the time necessary to answer questions and has a fantastic bedside manner. He is calm, reassuring, relaxed and, sometimes, very funny-- a perfect mix of expert doctor and really kind, relatable person. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Birmingham to anyone needing help with foot and ankle issues.

I am very happy with the care I received from Dr. Birmingham. I saw him for a fibula fracture that required surgery. I felt totally comfortable with him performing the surgery. He gave me a clear explanation of the process what recovery required and guidance for rehabilitation. He is super personable, and kind. 10 weeks post surgery and my led feels great. Walking normal with no pain!

Dr. Mark Birmingham is an excellent foot-and-ankle surgeon. He helped me recover from a chronic ankle sprain by guiding me through pre-surgery strengthening then performed the procedure that helped me get back to normal activities (including hiking) within about 6 months.

I had a pretty awful sports accident that resulted in a broken ankle and a bunch of torn ligaments. After some home remedies, bad advice from a different doctor, and trying to tough it out for 5 or 6 months, I finally decided to get it looked at. Dr. Birmingham came highly recommended by my chiropractor, so I went in. Dr. Birmingham took my mangled mess of an ankle that was in constant pain and had me back on my feet in a few weeks and snowboarding in a couple months. With some physical therapy, I'm getting back to 100% health and back to daily activities that I thought I'd never be able to do again. Literally changed my life, and I couldn't be happier with his bedside manner and follow up throughout the entire process. Him and his staff were attentive and helpful, and making appointments through the front desk was an easy process.
