Dr. Mark D Bjorklund, MD

Dr. Mark Bjorklund is a family medicine physician with dual specialty training in emergency medicine, bringing over four decades of medical experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Bjorklund is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of northern New Mexico.

Dr. Bjorklund practices at multiple locations throughout Espanola and Truchas, New Mexico, and maintains an affiliation with Presbyterian Espanola Hospital. His clinical expertise focuses on managing chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes in both adults and younger patients. He also specializes in treating high blood pressure and performs diagnostic procedures including blood work and complete blood counts to monitor patient health.
