Dr. Mark Andrew Bonner, MD

I had a minor blood issue during my Annual Wellness recently and was told by his nurse that I was being referred to “another Doctor” for further examination. A few days later I get a call from Highlands Oncology (Cancer Clinic) about an appointment, which scared me to death for the 7 days leading up to my appointment! A simple comment that the hematologist is from Highlands and it doesn’t mean I have suspicious cancer symptoms would have spared me a few sleepless nights.

The wait is one thing (over 2 hours in exam room)and still didn’t see Bonner with appt., the lack of communication to referring hospital, organization, front counter people rude, no empathy, follow up. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE SEEN!

I don’t mind waiting for a while because he is giving me his full attention and respect. He is listening to what I am saying. He is not thinking of his “Normal procedures” but what he is going to do to help me. That is whey I choose Dr Bonner! He Cares about his patients.

I went to high school with Dr. Bonner's sister and she is a lovely girl as is Dr. Bonner a "straight shooter," and carries no a pretentious airs about him. As for people who are upset about the long wait. It takes time to properly research each patient before the doctor sees them. Chill out. It is worth the wait, if you want to stay alive to be with your family for another year, and hopefully many more. God Bless Dr. Bonner.

I am a bad patient & wait too long to seek help. Especially when I have to mention "Medicare". "Doctors" seem to look at me as if I've played the system somehow even though I've had my back fused twice & 16 other surgeries. Dr. Bonner was my last hope...if he didnt help...I was done. I finally work up the nerve to go...the Nurse Practicioners were great...Dr. Bonner came in & we spoke as if we had been friends for years. He treated me with respect & therefore he had earned mine. He is the only doctor I see. He is the only doctor that will be my Primary Care Physician. He gave me hope that a doctor would care for & about me. I thank God every day for him & his team of folks. Without him I would have given up.

I FEEL LIKE I AM JUST A NUMBER TO THIS CLINIC. THE ONLY REASON I STAYED WAS BECAUSE THE GIRL IN THE LAB WITH THE PURPLE HAIR WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD DRAW MY BLOOD, BUT SHE IS NO LONGER THERE. I AM SURE SHE GOT RAN OFF MOST OF HIS GOOD STAFF GET RAN OFF FOR SOME REASON. THE PLACE IS JUST BAD. PLEASE DON'T GOT THERE JUST BECAUSE THE RIG THE VOTE FOR BEST OF THE BEST.. HE IS NOT THE BEST AND NEITHER IS HIS STAFF

Dr. Bonner had been my physician for at least 20 years, probably more. I have always found him knowledgeable, responsive to questions, and involved in your health situation. He is 5 stars for me.

Dr.Bonner is the BEST doctor in NWA by far!!! It might take a while to get into to see him, but it's worth the wait!!!

Made an appointment, waited 3 hours while watching walk-ins go ahead. Finally got up to leave, then Dr. Bonner approached clearly angry. I told him my symptoms and he was dismissive. Finally agreed to schedule lab tests, I waited a week and no one ever contacted me. I finally found another dr. who listened and immediately scheduled tests. I have severe neurotransmitter imbalance, causing episodes of life threatening hypokalemia along with Stage 3 adrenal failure. I could have died and Dr Bonner was too arrogant to offer help.
