Dr Mark Gerald Brooks

Terrible. You wait hours on hold and the turnover of medical providers is so high that you don’t know from week to week if you still have a doctor...important medication is not phoned in for days sometimes weeks...if you start having symptoms because you haven’t taken your medicine(their fault) in days, you will be forced to go to the hospital...very dangerous. They just don’t care

I was seeing DR. Garcia who has since left the practice. Started seeing a NP for c/o hematuria and flank pain when it began to get worse I called the office daily for 2 weeks with no response. I landed in the ER and was admitted with AKI, lithotripsy and stent placement, my hgb went from 12 to 10. I think all of this could have been avoided if my phone calls were returned some one dropped the ball.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Brooks, and ended up seeing a Nurse Practitioner the 1st time. I had to wait for 1hr to be seen. The NP was nice, but charged me extra without telling my why. I scheduled my annual physical with Dr. Brooks, but my appointment was cancelled 5 days before, with the next available date in 4 months! I rescheduled with NP Ella Barnett, and it was the worst experience ever. She was condescending and disrespectful. She was impatient, and rushing to get out. When I asked her some questions about increased hair fall, she said she can’t bill for that today, so I would have to schedule a separate appointment to discuss that. She recommended an EKG, for something minor, and when I didn’t want to do it, she unnecessarily caused panic saying so might end up in the ER and spend more money for the same EKG. Luckily it was covered in my insurance, and it was completely normal. All she seemed to care about was what she could bill the insurance. I don’t know how Dr.… Brooks is, and I won’t be finding out, because I’m never going back there.

I have been a patient for over 20 years. The care has steadily gone down. I highly suggest to find another doctor. I do have stories, but they don't allow enough room. But my advise is not to choose this doctor.

I have been a patient here for over 3 years. Dr. Brooks and his staff are some of the best I have experienced.

I am a physician and very rarely have confidence in other physicians but Mark Brooks has been my Internist for the past 9+ years and I have complete faith in him. I would not change based on his participation in my insurance plan. I would pay his bills out of pocket. He is a great physician. I have referred my in-laws and parents of a close friend. They love him as well. My wife will be changing to Dr. Brooks soon. That says more than anything I have said.

Went to Dr. Brooks because he was close by. Very happy that I did! No reservations... and the office has enough PAs on board that they can get you in to see one on the same day!

I saw several doctors for severe muscle weakness who could not give me any answers. Dr Brooks diagnosed me with polymyalgia rheumatica. He referred me to a specialist for the right treatment.

I have been very fortunate to have Dr. Brooks as my primary care doctor. He takes time to explain what course of treatment he is recommending and why and explains my test results. He answers all my questions fully and listens to my concerns. Based upon my conversations with him, it is clear to me that he cares about his patients and is extremely knowledgeable in a broad range of medical issues.

Dr Brooks and his staff helped me through out my illness. They guided with treatment and helped me navigate the health care system.
