Dr. Brown completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then completed two years of General Surgery Residency and four years of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Prior to coming to Raleigh in 1992, he served as Instructor of Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Brown is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Brown specializes in all areas of Ear, Nose and Throat medicine and surgery, including Pediatric and Adult problems of the ears, nose, sinuses, allergies, tumors of the face and neck, thyroid surgery, and throat and voice disorders. He particularly enjoys ear surgery, Pediatric ENT, and counseling both adult patients and parents about …their ENT problems.
