Amazing Dr! He is quick and to the point. His nurses are all respectful and caring. His front desk staff needs work.

I went to see this doctor for wrist pain substantial enough that it has impacted my daily life- it was not a good experience. I do not feel that my concerns were taken seriously and he didn't give me the time of day. I feel used and taken advantage of after going to his office. He was very dismissive. At the end of the VERY short appointment I was told there was nothing structurally wrong with my wrist so he was unable to do anything else for me. I'm not sure if he did not take my pain seriously or just didn't care but I was told there was nothing he could do and that was it. When I inquired about seeing anyone else or seeing a physical therapist to ease the pain he said, "I don't know what a physical therapist would do because I don't even have a diagnosis to give you." I urge you to find another doctor.

His personality might catch you off guard but he is an excellent surgeon!

When most of the bad reviews out way the good.....that should be your first clue!!! I decided to ask around the hospital(patients & coworkers) about this particular doctor, wondering just how bad their experiences were. HOLY COW!!! I could not believe how many people shared their horrible experience with this doctor. That is scary!!! I cannot believe this doctor is still practicing!!! Wonder how many lawsuits have been filed?!?? ??????

I have my own complaints about this doctor, but after reading all of the reviews...WOW!!! There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said many, many times. The infections were the common denominator and YES, I too ended up with MRSA after my mastectomy. He told me the exact same thing.. that I probably had the flu or something. I ended up in the hospital with a 105 fever for a week!!! That it self is very scary and worriesome!! Listen to what these women are saying if you don't want to be his next victim of neglect!

I could not say enough great things! I will definitely be a returning customer! Completely satisfied with this doctor!

Run away from this man ASAP. I too thought he was the best reconstruction surgeon to use after my mastectomy for breast cancer. I wish I had read all the reviews about him. I also ended up in the hospital 2 weeks after reconstruction with a horrible infection. He said nothing was wrong with me!!!! I had MRSA! I am not the only one....there are many of us that have had the exact same horrible experience with him. He left me disfigured and in pain and said there was nothing else he could do for me. I do not know has he can continue to practice and WHY Mary Ellen Locher lets him work there. Please do your homework and DO NO LET HIM TOUCH YOU!!!!

I had a mastectomy with reconstruction. My surgeon only used Dr Brzezienski for plastics. He explained to me how reconstruction would go overall (not the details where you have expanders and have to go weekly for fluid input and drainage, etc). One thing he repeatedly told me was that at the end he would “fat graft” any areas needed especially the area near the breast bone to have the appearance of cleavage. He also told me he would get rid of any “fat pads” under the arms, “no one likes those” he didn’t. I made 5 visits to see him about fat grafts. He refused. I even offered to pay cash, he said he was afraid he might puncture the implant???? He’s supposed to be the best in Chattanooga??? Said I didn’t need the fat grafts when there is clearly an indentation from my breast bone all the way across my reconstructed breast. He used so many excuses. Insurance has to have all these pictures. Insurance wouldn’t approve it. Etc etc. Also it appears that the implant is attached to my… vertical scar and the bottom of my reconstructed breast looks scalloped. Therefore the implant is pushed up high into my chest and honestly if it were much higher It would probably be choking me. Oh and once I had my tattoo, he said he actually thought his reconstructed breast looked much better. I cried. Here I am a couple of years later finding another plastic surgeon to fix his mistakes. I didn’t have to point anything out. This new plastic surgeon took one look and knew exactly what needs to be done to correct all the problems. Even the failed nipple reconstruction he did. The last thing I wanted was more surgery but when I look in the mirror it makes me sick at the mess he created. I have never written anything like this before but I don’t want anyone else to have to go through this...

Self richghtous, promises things he can't do. Horibal person, he don't like you to ask a question. Every breast cancer woman I know that has went to this man has had a serious infection. Causing me/them to be in the hospital for a few days. The staff act stressed but sweet.
