is very arrogant and unhelpful. screams and ask what you want to do and that h e doesn’t give out medication making it out to be like I was only being seen to get something when that wasn’t the case and tried making me feel incompetent. screamed at me what I was even doing awake at that time of night. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had and I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t never recommend him and he should not be head of the ed let alone practicing in any way shape or form.

Mocked me when I stumbled into the er disoriented from blood loss from my period. Implied I was being overdramatic about my blood loss when I informed him my hemoglobin levels were at a 7 a couple days prior and I had been soaking super plus tampons within an hour or two for days. My hemoglobin ended up being a 5 and I needed to get 3 units of blood transfused. I will say the look of shock on his face was satisfying but it was terrifying to not get the respect I needed in a life threatening emergency. If my husband hadn't been there with me to support me I worry I mightve just been discharged immediately.

I came in with abscessed tooth, horrible pain of course it’s a holiday so I couldn’t go elsewhere. My face on left side is swollen, throbbing, my upper lip is swollen I look like a who from whoville and the first thing he says is what are you doing in here at midnight? I tell him, he looks at my tooth and then proceeds to say I don’t give out opioids .unfortunately this is the 2nd time he has done this to me. I was hoping I wouldn’t run into him again as the first time I had blood in my urine and passing kidney stones. My primary care physician was upset with him. Not everyone is a druggy! I don’t even drink alcohol. I needed some instant relief and antibiotics. Mind you I had already taken 4- 800 ibuprofen throughout the day. I tried to manage it. It’s just sickening that he assumes that everyone wants drugs instead of trying to help ease the pain. He was also in the room a whole 5 minutes, he didn’t bother to feel around my face for it being swollen. This is a serious issue, he could… have given me antibiotics through IV too to help get it started. I’m disgusted and I can’t believe he is still around.

Worthless visit to Trinity ER. Final straw in terminating all ties with Trinity providers.

I had a wonderful long story of my experience with Dr. Buettner written out but it somehow just got erased. Let me just say that he was a most compassionate, caring doctor that did a fantastic job not just in suturing a very complex laceration but keeping in touch with me on a very busy night in the ER. I could not have received better service anywhere else.

totally unprofessional, uncaring thinks e knows everything but is clueless and treats people like they are stupid.if he doesn't like you won;t get treated

Is a jerk and treats patients on medicaid and make repeated trips to er like non people and idiots. He has worked in many hospitals around Iowa makes me think he was fired due to inadequate patient care which i have found to be the case each time he has supposedly treated me. treated here is relative. This dr is not up to speed on current illnesses and seems to think he is a know it all when he knows nothing and can't answer simple medical questions. No treatment was rendered except by paramedics. this dr called me a liar and i suffered physically and was stressed by the lack of treatment. side effects from lack of treatment lasted over a week. his license needs to be taken away and fired from local hospital and return to mmedical school for retraining

We brought our son in to the ED when he fell off the swingset and hit his head. Dr Buettner identified his brain injury and managed it with expertise. He saved my sons life that day. We later found out that he is board certifed in Emergency Medicine and trained at one of the best residency programs in the country for Emergency Medicine. That was at University of Washington, Seattle.

this so called dr is just that. i went in by ambulance allergic reaction to peanut dust.he is a liar and told me that people after 47 yrs of eating peanuts do not suddenly become allergic.and my coughing was not related have asthma. and extensive medical history and xrays.he did said was making it up called me a liar. ii was a paramedic and Lpn on disabilty.he did not treat the breathing d selling of throat. I threw him out and said your fired and demanded a supervisor. have filed a complaint. my 16 yr old dughter knows more. 2 other er drs know it is a sudden onset of a peanut allergy
