Dr. Mark Vincent Burke, MD

I cant believe that dr burke and his staff receive bad reviews. They care and they listen. I say they because his assistants are just as good as he is. Very professional very caring and very good.

I normally do not write reviews and I do not particularly care for most doctors but I was just looking for the number to call fr burke and saw some bad reviews and I had to write something. He is the best. He constantly checks up on u and his staff is outstanding. They care and u dont get that often. I am happy to have found him and his lovely staff. They are by far the best family practice that u will find.

He has no manners. Asks certain questions that I do know have nothing to do with my health, etc.. just being nosy. You make an appointment, and end up sitting and sitting for sometimes a good hour before your seen, and mind you this is just for refills.. He has 2 secretaries that work for him. Samantha is a doll, however, the other secretary literally thinks she's a doctor with how she speaks to a patient. I do know of quite a number of people who did use him as their doctor, however, they no longer go to him anymore. Also forgot to mention out of no where that you get an ekg, etc.. when it's all about the money. Now I know why people have stopped going to him.

After 4 years of seeing him every month, I Was told he would not be our( my elderly mother and I ) physician any longer because we refused to go to flushing hospital and I missed approx 2 appointments which were rescheduled a few days later. He has a temper.

He does remember anything about you. He asks you the same questions every visit. I would not recommend him. No bedside manner.

Dr Burke shows his patients that he cares and he really listens. He does thorough testing. I've been to a lot of different doctors but he is by far the most thorough doctor I've had. I'll be leaving NY soon so I won't be coming to him anymore so all I can hope for is to find a doctor like him in PA. I would definitely recommend.

This doctor is the most thorough physician I've ever met!

Dr. Burke definitely takes his time with you; he never rushes off to the next patient. He makes you feel like you're part of the family and takes an interest in your life. You're not just a patient. He is very thorough, more thorough than other doctors which is great because he catches anything that might pop up. Would definitely recommend.

Although the waiting room time is sometimes extensive, it is only because once you are in the exam room the doctor takes the time to listen and respond to all of your concerns and make you feel that you are important and that your health really does matter.
