Dr. Mark Edward Campbell, MD

I truly believe he is the best cardiologist in all of Mississippi! He has kept me alive over the past 10 years. He really cares about his patients and so does his nurse Autumn. Thanks for everything you’ve done to help keep me alive.

My husband came in thru the ER with chest pain and shortness of breath. Was admitted and had a nuclear stress test the next day. Was told by a nurse it was inconclusive and he’d need another one the next morning. After that test a nurse came in and said you’re being discharged. No visit by Dr Campbell, no med changes, no referrals. Just come back to the office in 2 weeks. Keep in mind, he continued to have those same symptoms the entire stay in the hospital. Needless to say he won’t make that follow up and is seeing another cardiologist next week.

Best cardiologist in North MS; truly impressed me whereas other physicians do not.

In heart failure arrhythmia Dec 2012 hospital. Transferred to out-patient cardiologist who said, "Look, get used to the fact that your husband is going to die!" I then saw Dr. Campbell, who adjusted medications and performed two electrocardioversions, which resulted in normal rhythm and health much improved, until Dr. Campbell moved to North MS. We felt great confidence in this doctor who sorted out what was wrong and treated successfully. I have been unable to find a satisfactory replacement who has a reasonable and acceptable plan that makes sense to me. I am now 1 1/2 years out hospital. Dr. Campbell treated me as a person with concern and long range plan.

Learn how to talk to the patient and keep your words to the patient and the family! And always do a follows up !!!!!
