Dr. Mark Christian Carnett, DO

I've noticed over the years that the staff has changed considerably within this office. There is certainly a language barrier now when you try to deal with the staff. It has been my personal experience that Rita is very helpful and very respectful of my privacy and needs. I have never received poor service from Rita or Miss Dixie. I do feel the facility overall is a lot less efficient than it was in the old days when Rita and Linda handled everything and Dr Garnett, his wife and PA still saw patients. It seems that Dr Cornett and his PA of long ago who I believe turned into a gastro doctor along with the Carnetts daughter and the two girls I mentioned ran the whole place and a much better manner than the current staff which appears to be greater in numbers but less in efficiency.

I am looking for another doctor not because of the treatment that I recieve from the nurse practitioners at Carnett Clinic but because of the poor, unprofessional office staff. Rita is the absolute worse. Her attitude, her demeanor, the way she approaches all the patients is unprofessional and is either encouraged or ignored by the office manager Terry. Even after trying to talk with Terry who became disrespectful and even more confrontational than Rita Terry decided to come into the room where I was getting ready to give my blood. There is a pattern of conduct.

Carnett Clinic you have wonder NP's, however your office staff is absolutely HORRIBLE! I think you should get rid of your actual staff and just use the virtual assistants, they are much friendlier and helpful. My whole family has been going to Carnett Clinic for at least 15 years, but now I have made the decision to switch my ENTIRE family to a new PCP not due to the care of the medical staff, but due to RITA the Office Manger. WAKE UP Carnett Clinic, look at these reviews and on other sites. GET RID OF YOUR OFFICE MANAGER or LOSE LOYAL PATIENTS. The "You are Fired" letter is a real thing, because my friend received one after she complained about "Ms. Rita", not giving her the satisfaction of writing another letter and wasting postage, so I am doing you a favor... I QUIT!

I've been a patient for 15+ years with Dr. Carnett, and when I showed for an appointment, I was told that he was no longer seeing his patients. He has withdrawn to specialty areas and is taking more "personal" time. This is without any prior notice. He has physician assistants now seeing patients, but they are not doctors. This is very disappointing after so many years, and is not what I would define as a quality primary care physician.

Dr. Carnett has withdrawn from seeing his patients and without prior notice. He is replaced with physician assistants, who are nice, but not doctors. I have been a patient for 15 years and this "change" without prior notice for an appointment was not appreciated.

I've been a patient of his nearly since he came to Sierra Vista. I think I've had enough. He's OK, but my goodness between Rita, the virtual assistants & not having my phone calls returned, that's it. I'm also just bone tired of being told my prescriptions have been sent when they haven't been.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carnett for quite a few years. He is exceptional. His staff is very nice, efficient, patient and courteous. I enjoy his time when I'm there. He is very interactive and caring. I look forward to continuing my relationship as one of his patients. kevin mott

I have been frustrated over and over through disappointment in Rita who cares nothing for the patient and is very careless with PHI and HIPPA. She likes to shout your private information across the lobby including birth date, address verification, and insurance claims. This is not good in front of a lobby full of sick and waiting patients. I have been a patient of Carnett Clinic for longer than Rita ever showed her sour puss. I am leaving Carnett Clinic now and I think my wife will follow (her choice). I can't allow my personal information to be tossed around orally, by RITA. Goodbye Carnett Clinic.

Dr. Carnett is very nice, takes time with you, but his office staff is horrible. You have to talk to this virtual assistant, the waiting area is small so everyone can hear what you are there for. It's almost like they don't want to have contact with the people anymore.

Dr Carnett is a genuine caring person and a awesome doctor. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
