Dr. Mark O Carter, MD

I've been going to Mark and/or his physican assistants for 25+ years. They bend over backwards to try and get you in, even when their schedules are full. They are detailed, attentive, and aren't in a hurry to get you in and out of the office, no matter how busy they are. They always follow up and have repeatedly called my house to make sure I got important lab results when I have failed to call them back. Their reception staff and nurses are also very helpful and outgoing.

I have been going to the Carters for years and they’re wonderful, but the rudeness and lack of any sort of emotion from the office staff makes me question whether or not I need to look at finding a new doctor for all family members. I could deal with just plain impassive, but staff go out of their way to make things difficult for patients. Difficult for even the smallest items, scheduling an appointment, returning phone calls, paperwork pick up, etc. When someone is in or calling a doctor’s office, there’s a reason, on some level, you don’t feel well, to add in unhelpful staff that make you jump through hoops and wait days for something makes it unbearable.

Dr. Mark is great..but the receptionist was rude...

Dr. Mark is great, he's very caring and pays attention to detail. However the nurses at his office are the rudest people I've ever come across.

I have been seeing the Dr. at this practice as long as I can remember. Their father Dr. John O who recently passed was a wonderful man and Dr. I would refer others to Dr. Mark Carter.

love this dr. started going to him when his father dr. J.O. Carter started feeling ill.

After a misdiagnosis of my ailment and then telling me there is nothing more he can do for me I have promptly decided to change my family physician...

Mark has been my family doctor for 18 years and he's the most helpful, caring & experienced doctor anyone could hope for. I recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor.
