Dr. Mark Anthony Checcone, MD

I was referred to Dr. Checcone by my Dermatologist after having a melanoma removed from my face. I had a hole in my face at least the size of a quarter for a week, while waiting to hear whether or not all of the cancer had been removed. Dr. Checcone's staff was very polite, efficient, and attentive. Dr. Checcone evaluated the opening during a consult and then performed the surgery the next day. He is a talented plastic surgeon who did an outstanding job. He took a round hole and turned it into a longer scar which he moved closer to my jaw line so that it would appear more natural. It has healed very well and people who have seen the before and after can't believe it. He even managed to save my beard by ensuring the scar didn't interfere too much with the natural hair growth! Highly recommend.

Dr. Checcone removed a basil cell from the upper part of my nose next to my eye. Needless to say, I was very aprehensive. On my initial visit he spent time explaining how he would perform the procedure and answered all of my questions. The day of the surgey he and his staff were comforting and the procedure was painless. Eight days later he removed the sutures. I highly recommend him.

It's difficult to express how PLEASED I am with Dr Checcone and his staff. Dr Checcone has performed reconstruction nose surgery on me twice after two different MOHS procedures. The initial consultations have been very informative and reassuring. They have always done everything to accommodate my specific needs. last time I visited him for a followup of my previous surgery, I told him that I was having MOHS procedure tomorrow and he actually took me in the next day at 4:pm to do the second reconstruction. Great surgeon. I had sinus surgery/ FESS and stepped to the next level of plastic and cosmetic surgery.

I cannot say anything positive about rejuveface or Dr. Checcone. They incorrectly billed my insurance, have extremely long wait times (45-60min), and most importantly did a horrible job on my reconstructive surgery. I have such bad scarring I want to cry! I wish I had taken the advice of my derm who told me to go elsewhere.

I went to visit Dr. Checcone because I need to have a reconstructive surgery on my nose. He gave me an overview of his specialty and went ahead and did an examination. Right after, he told me exactly what was wrong with my nose and understood everything I explained to him. He even showed me pictures of cases similar to mine and told me how he was going to fix my nose. I was very please with his professionalism and expertise. Will definitely recommend this doctor.

All procedures were explained in great detail and my anxiety was minimized as this was my first experience being a patient after having moved to Florida. I have just had my last post op follow up appointment, it is now four months post reconstruction, friends and family think my nose looks amazing and so do I! I am confident in recommending Dr. Checcone for reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Checcone is the nicest surgeon i have ever met..He is a perfectionist so there is nothing to worry about if you are considering surgery..I consider his family part of mine now!!
