Dr. Chittum and his staff are all very kind, courteous, and skilled. Dr. Chittum is knowledgeable of the latest treatments and implements them in a timely fashion to provide the best care for me. He is the only game in town and actually reprimanded me for asking a question

Dr. Chittum permanently damaged my vision with two surgeries, the second the result of the first. He is uncaring, cold, and incredibly rude. His staff is very nice but his standard procedure of herding patients around like they were sheep just reinforces his attitude that patients are just that...bodies, not thinking, feeling people. I do not know about his partners in the practice, but I would never recommend Dr. Chittum to anyone. Ever.

Dr. Chittum projects the attitude that his time is much more valuable than yours. Patients are herded around the office like cattle, and he always acts rushed and too busy to spend much time with you, despite the fact that you've had to wait for him. As a surgeon he is certainly competent, but I found his "bedside manner" inexcusable.
