Dr. Mark Chang Sik Choe

I have a bad experience many years ago and feel a poor skilled dentist. He suggests this & that. I won't recommend him.

Is it the same as the review below? Is this possible? How is that the same thing? Wow It is a fraudster. Dr. Choi already has very bad rumors.

Mark Choe is a con artist trying to drill your mouth up and perform extra services to get more money through commission. I Went to Mark Choe for the first time at Neibaur Dental in Mount Vernon Va. for routine dental exam. He wanted to drill and fill 7 of my existing fillings, telling me they all had cavities AND a ROOT CANAL ON ONE. He also wanted to know when my insurance ended and said we could get the maximum amount from them. Mind you, I go to the dentist every 6 months and have had x-rays done by multiple doctors before him. The first time i want to visit Dr. Choe, he wants to do 7 filliings and a root canal?! LOL . The total estimate was around 3,000 dollar and almost 2,000 dollars out of my pocket! WTH?! It was a no brainer I refused the work he recommended and scheduled a second opinion with a new doctor the next day at a different location. The doctor told me Dr. Choe was nuts for wanting to do all that work and that i only had ONE CAVITY and didnt need a ROOT… CANAL! The total out of pocket cost me 53 bucks compared to Dr. Choe's recommended charge of 3000 dollars for work needed. Stay away from him, he is only trying to take your hard earned money and put it in his pocket by recommending quack work.

The dentist did work on my mom's teeth. One of the tooth fell off less than a year. She went back to have him fix for her and he charge her more. She went to a different dentist after that to get her other tooth done. The other dentist had to redo what Dr Cho did so that it won't fall off.

High standard of care over the past 8 years. Always friendly and professional. No pain. Cares very much for patients.
