Dr. Mark Andrew Clifford, MD

While under the care of Dr. Mark Clifford I was hospitalized twice in one year due to his gross negligence as a healthcare provider. The first hospitalization was caused by medications that he never once gave me the choice in taking and lack of appropriate supervision for mind altering substances. The cause of the second stay in hospital was again related to medications he forced on me, without supervision which seems to be his standard of care, with the added complexity of a traumatic brain injury after he failed to respond to his duties as my doctor. After having to relearn to speak and walk while in hospital, I promptly found a doctor who has not once neglected me, a welcome change to which I never was accustomed to while under the care of Dr. Mark Clifford. I will not discuss his arrogant and manipulative behaviors, as he would quickly deny them, but from the time I met him I always had the impression he regarded himself as the greatest gift to the field of psychiatry. For a… person’s whose carrier is based on listening to others, he seemed to speak often about himself. I respect this doctor, but it would be wise of him to find another field in which his skills would be more useful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Clifford for almost 5 years. He is very thorough and very honest. He also treats you like a human being which is Iimportant to those of us who suffer from mental illness. His focus is always on and about his patients.
