Dr. Mark Michael Connolly, MD

Dr. Connolly is an excellent doctor and General Surgeon. He always shares a wealth of knowledge and his experiences to bring the patient into the process. Dr. Connolly truly saved my life.

He is a good surgeon - he's knowledgeable and experienced and other doctors there trust him. But he is not a good doctor. His bedside manner is truly terrible. He oozes a lack of empathy or seemingly any real care for you as a person. You're just a job for him to work on and that's it. He explains things with complex jargon rather than straightforward language. He also shows very little respect to patients. He has twice examined me in an aggressive manner which left me sore. He also started one of those exams, after talking about other topics, by just stopping the conversation and then walking over to start manipulating my head aggressively and examine certain areas without explaining what he was doing, asking for permission to start, or asking if what he was doing was causing any discomfort or if it felt OK (which it didn't). If there were a poster child for capable surgeon with a terrible attitude who helps his patients but also makes them feel like dirt in the process,… Dr. Connolly would be it.

Dr. Mark Connolly performed a wide excision of a Stage 3 malignant melanoma of my right leg and a sentinel node biopsy many years ago and he did an amazing job. The first surgeon I saw wanted to do a skin graft off my hip but we got a second opinion and Dr. Connolly did a hurricane stitch that was way less invasive. I'm happy and healthy and only have mild lymphedema in my right leg that requires a compression stocking. I highly recommend him.

Everyone was great doctor fixed me all up

He is the best. Not too often do you find a "hot shot" doctor who is also genuinely a nice person. You cannot go wrong with choosing him. Any length of time you wait to get in will be worth it. The first time I went to see him, I did wait a long time, but that was because he is in such demand. People were walking in with complex and urgent surgical needs that day. He is an excellent doctor.

I was under the care of Dr. Connolly twice within the span of five years for breast cancer. I am now a thirteen year survivor. All that I say to anyone who is reading this and seeking a world class physician that genuinely cares deeply about his patients for yourself or anyone you know who is suffering with cancer you really don't need look anti further. A more caring higher skilled physician than Dr. Connolly would be almost impossile to find. See for yourself.

Dr. Connolly was not only condescending to me, he has the gaul, after I waited an hour and a half to see him, to ask me if I even wanted this procedure done. Then, during the procedure, his cell phone rang, very loudly mind you, and he answered it and took the call in the room. It was clearly a personal call. I am amazed this man is allowed to practice with such a horrible bedside manner. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a doctor's office in my life.

This doctor is patient oriented. If he is not sure about something, he goes the extra mile to find out.

This man gave me a new lease on life. He is knowledgeable, caring, just wonderful.

The best! Very caring and knowledgeable in his field. I was truly blessed the day I came under his care.
