Dr. Mark Alan Corbitt

Dr.Corbitt was a great surgeon. He cared for his patients. It's a shame he does not work at the time. Valdosta lost a great Dr. I hope he gets better soon.

Dr. Corbitt performed surgery on a family member. An error during the surgery caused us to almost loose this family member several times during and after the surgery. The Doctor admitted the error was the cause of the complications. A total of six surgeries were required when it was supposed to be an outpatient procedure. This family member's life, as well as the life of all of her loved ones will be forever changed. She now requires full-time care and has lost all freedoms to walk, drive, go to church, fix meals for herself or her loved ones, dress herself, visit her friends, eat meals without sickness and more. She has lost 30 pounds and cannot wear any of her clothes. All of the aspects of her life has been changed as a result of this negligence of Dr. Corbitt. Although we are thankful that God saved her life, we cannot forget that what should have been a simple procedure ended in changing the quality of life of our loved one. I feel an obligation to let others know this… before choosing this Dr. for surgical reasons. A good beside manner does not determine the qualification of a Doctor, please beware and seek other opinions before using this Doctor.
