Dr. Mark Edward Cormier, MD

Horrible. I have had a uti since April. He refused to give me IV antibiotics and kept giving me the same oral one. My liver values went through the roof because of this med. Now I am seeing a liver Doctor who took me off the med right away. (I told comier that my liver values were through the roof. He said he was not there to discuss that) Fact is I wait over an hour each time I was there then he spent less them 4 min in the room with me. Comier told me to get an infectious disease doctor, which I did and he gave me the IV meds to get rid of infection. Went to Comier last week to have a test done that the infectious disease told him to do. Comier said no he would not do it. (2nd test he refused to do that the infectious disease dr Comier told me I had to get) Plus I have another UTI. They had the results on Monday but did not bother to call me. I had to call them on Wednesday to get the results. Now I have to go to Loyola. I am not an average patient that just wants tests done. I have… had a ute since April. Comier also treats me like I am a child. Told me that if I needed to see him again he would be crying before he has to answer the phone because he does not want me to be sick. Also told me the uti's are not my fault then refused to do the test to see why It never goes away.

Dr. Cormier was very thorough in explaining my diagnosis and the surgery that would be necessary. I appreciated the caring shown by him and his staff when the cancer was explained and recovery detailed.

Dr. Cormier has zero bedside manner, he's judgemental, small minded, and wouldn't even address the issue I was the to see him about. He decided my appointment was better spent receiving a lecture of his preconceived notions of my lifestyle. Of which he based solely off my looks.
