Dr. Mark B Crafford, OD

I have seen Dr. Crafford twice now regarding contacts. The first visit was my exam. The second visit was my trials follow up. I had been given my contacts to try for a week and then was told to come back as he wanted to see them in my eyes. However, this past week has been nothing but issues with them. I haven’t been able to see clearly with them in or out since I’ve gotten them. I followed all instructions given to me. My vision has been blurry, my eyes have been burning, and super irritated.Yet for some reason I was told by him that my work and the weather were the factors of this all occurring. I do not think this man went to all extents to make sure there was nothing else going on with the lenses nor my eyes. He lacks professionalism, initiative, and customer service. I overheard him telling another lady in the practice before I was even called back the same thing he told me. He failed to investigate what was actually going on and just said well I will put you in a different pair… as that would solve it. No care in the world on how I was feeling about the situation and I left very upset and will be in contact with his superiors at America’s Best’s as he doesn’t seem to want to be an optometrist with a good reputation. It also seems his prior practice was shut down after 32 years of practice? Seems a bit concerning if you ask me. I hope somebody can be helped by reading this review and to not support his practice at the Landstown America’s best location. I also have spoken my concerns to many family members and peers and all which have told me this is not normal.
