I went to see dr. Dahl after having 14 surgeries in Chicago have a right leg crush injury after lengthening about 3 in and then it failed when I put some weight on it and my doctor said "there's nothing else I can do " so we very fortunate to find Dr. Dahl. I was very nervous seeing him after the first doctor had failed me .I took a flight from Chicago to Minneapolis, now after being not weight bearing for almost 2 years, I was very skeptical to say the least, Dr Dahl made me feel comfortable and explained how he was going to approach the surgery, he performed surgery the next morning, I left the hospital with an external frame with 3 motors and a lot of rods going through my leg , also a bunch of color coded rods going through my ankle , I was given a sheet with directions for my ankle, a week after surgery he called my house talked to my wife on the process of turning on the motors , we lenghten almost 3 inches, I went back to see him a couple of times to remove parts of the… frame as the process continued, the only surgery I had afterwards was to fuse my ankle, but I can walk feel great, I do believe this man truly has an amazing gift. Is the best there is.

At 30 years old I needed a complete knee replacement. Dr. Dahl has worked with me for many years prior to the actual knee replacement. I'm so very happy to be able to walk normally and to hold a full time job. I could say more but just that he's the greatest!

Only saw him for 2 minutes at this appointment.

Dr. Dahl performed a High Tibial Osteotomy and scope of my knee. All of the people involved in pre-op and post-op were professional, courteous and even fun as appropriate. The top priority for this procedure post-op was managing pain which they did exceptionally well. What should have been the worst pain of my five knee surgeries was actually the lowest experienced pain. I was 50% weight bearing right away. Dr. Dahl is highly respected among his peers and it's well deserved in my experience.

Very personable, caring, professional and educated. I would highly recommend Dr. Dahl to anyone I know (and don't know). You can have the confidence that he is exceptionally qualified in all that he does and he is a perfectionist with his patients.

I had a non invasive knee replacement. It turned out wonderful and Dr. Dahl did a wonderful job of closing my wound. After 6 months it is barley visible. He is very kind and caring and takes time with the patient.
