Broke my foot, which required surgery. Foot is healing nicely and while there had both knees and shoulder issues addressed. Doing great, I’m very sorry to see him leave!

Had a shoulder repaired recently and I am healing very well thanks to the wonderful job he did. He really cares and you can tell he takes pride in his work!

Dr D'Angelo was a breath of fresh air. Honest, to the point and caring. I will go back to him.

My mother came into Manistee Munson hospital for a shattered hip. It was broken in 9 pieces. My mom is 74 years old. She is one of the healthiest fast moving people I know. After this guy got a hold of her shattered hip...her life has been completely altered permanently. Dr. D angelo decided to piece her shattered hip back together with screws instead of doing a complete hip replacement. She was then placed in the rehab facility thats associated with this so called hospital. She contracted MRSA..I'm not surprised she caught this nasty infection from the rehab facility. Well now 3 months later ( the accident happened 3 months ago) and 3 surgeries later my mother still has MRSA and you guessed it the screws malfunctioned causing my mother to be in the worst pain she has ever experienced in her life. Mind you my entire life my mom has never been sick or had to go to ER. So she had to.have another surgery to remove the hardware in her hip and now has a cement spacer instead of a total hip… replacement. She has been told by this so called surgeon Dr. DAngelo that there's a possibility she cant ever have a hip replacement because of this infection that was caused by him and facility and wrong choices being made by a surgeon you should be able to trust. He mad a wrong decision and my mom is paying the price 100%. The pain ALONE that she has experienced besides several procedures and several surgeries she had had to go through is absolutely unacceptable and she still has more to go and again because of Dr.Dangelo. His communication with patients and family is also not the desired outcome of what you would expect from a surgeon. Do not come to this hospital for ortho issues I highly suggest going anywhere else but Manistee munson hospital and Dr. Dangelo.
