Dr. Mark M Danney, MD

It is obvious that Dr. Danney is good doctor, otherwise his office staff would put him out of business. It is impossible to call and talk to someone or even just schedule an appointment; you must leave your info then wait 2-3 days for a returned call. They are not helpful in coordinating with other service providers. For example, we were waiting for them to call us back so we could schedule a procedure he said we needed. After a week they called back to tell us they didn't perform the procedure (this is after we had discussed it with them at three appointments) or coordinate it with the surgeon; they gave us the surgeon's number (which didn't work) so we could set it up ourselves. In another instance, we waited over three weeks to get lab results that the lab told us had been sent to Dr. Danney's office the day after the blood draw. If there was any other pediatric endocrinologist on our insurance, we would not go to this clinic.

Dr Danney helped us manage our daughter's growth hormone disorder for 4 years, until we moved out of state. He is brilliant and was extremely helpful with our daughter's condition. Phone lines can be difficult to manage but do not let that discourage you. The care that Dr. Danney provided our child was absolutely worth any phone tree inconvenience. On our initial visit he spent an hour with us, then we stayed for several hours more for tests. He addressed our (then) 8 year old with concern and spoke directly to her to answer her questions. Dr. Danney is a dedicated, caring professional.

Dr. Danney is the best doctor ever.(quote from patient Lexie). He and Lisa have always helped us get back on track and get the diabetes under control. His lobby staff are not the most pleasant especially for children to observe. They could be more friendly. Dr. Danney has a summer camp that is a wonderful experience for all diabetics, especially the younger ones who are still scared of the disease. I recommend Dr. Danney highly.

Dr. Danney's diagnosis and treatment of my son feels like a miracle. He makes it happen.

Worst doctor and office staff I have ever experienced

We had a small problem at home and called a number provided by his office at 8:00 at night. I was happily surprised to be told that Dr Danney would be calling me from his home. And he did within a few minutes.
