I had a Aurorabifemor bypass back in 1999 . Dr. Deathridge did a marvelous job and saving me from losing my legs. This was at the age of 49. Due to smoking cigarettes. I am now 75 young and still going strong. I can now walk 14 miles , in less than 6 hrs. Not much on bedside matters. But he knows what he's doing So I say to you doc, WADO (thank you. CAROL T.. NO I QUIT SMOKING ONE MONTH LATER. That's been 26 yrs

I had an experience with this doctor many years ago. I am still traumatized by his lack of care and concern and have finally decided to say something about it. I was treated for a vascular condition without proper anesthesia or pain management. The procedure lasted about 45 minutes and I was in extreme pain for the entire period. I communicated this repeatedly to Dr. Deatherage. His response was to get very angry with me, to threaten to stop the procedure, and to tell me to lie back down. When I suggested that he wait longer for the local anesthetic to take effect he said he didn’t have time. As much as it feels uncomfortable to say this, I came away with the belief that he was enjoying hurting me. And I was helpless to do anything about it. I am finally saying something after all these years in the hope that others will not have to go through what I went through.
