Generally the greater part of your staff is at least courteous but there is most often one woman in particular who is almost always unnecessarily rude and should either be put on some sort of probation or outright fired.This is NOT the first time; she was at the other location acting in the same manner. This makes for frustration for those who are already not feeling well and is disheartening to know you have to confront this sort of attitude, especially as often as WE've had to deal with her. Many times I'm there to see the way she handles folks.Dr. DeLoach,I was supposed to see my brother graduate from Basic Training in Alabama over the weekend and may no longer be able to go because of your absence. While it's understandable you had a family emergency, my husband waited outside the office for about 2 hours during the lunch break after having waited from 11 until just before noon, trying to see if you could see him.At first she had stated you were in a meeting although, from all… accounts, she told different clients different stories (which does not seem very reliable or trustworthy if a person can't at least keep to one story) about either being in a meeting or having a family emergency.I just received a call within the last 10 minutes of his leaving Bay Springs not having been seen by you. It's now 1:50PM.He could've seen a different doctor in that amount of time or, at least, felt like crap at home. I would also like to state clearly that while you may need to take time for yourself for whatever reason, if it is not unmistakably mentioned/noted why you cannot see patients (and given in a manner that is tolerable at the very least) then this breaks any sort of relationship YOU had built previously.I also understand some things are too personal to tell everyone that walks in but this can be solved with a generic comment of being unable to see patients.My mother-in-law is also a multiple-visiting client.Again, we understand most times when you aren't able to see somebody.However, if this sort of confrontation continues to happen as it has many times before, I WILL BE referring everyone I know to another doctor (at this point it doesn't matter who), even with the service you've given in the past which, I realize, has been rather easy-going and thorough.The biggest reason for this is because I know for a fact he has mentioned this woman and her behavior to you before.Please take this to heart. Some clients don't have the time, money or ability to make a -hour drive (and then some in some cases) only to deal with rude staff and a wait that leads to no service what-so-ever.Thank you for your time.
