Dr. DeMeo is the whole package. Wicked smart Kind and compassionate He listens to hear and not just to respond. RUSH is very lucky to have him.

He's knowledgeable about conditions that some doctors aren't familiar with, but my case was too complex for him, and he made several errors before his office just stopped following up with me. He also made some comments about my body that were highly inappropriate and had a very arrogant manner. He also got mad at me for taking notes in my appointment.

Dr. DeMeo is a very caring and compassionate doctor, which is a refreshing change! I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Demeo is the best at what he does. He's accurate, to the point and funny. If you can't handle the truth about your health and what you need to do to improve your health outlook, you might not want to see him. I've sent a number of friends to him and I have at least three friends who've said he has saved their lives. After a number of doctors, only Dr. DeMeo diagnosed them accurately and treated them.

We found Doctor Demeo to be too disorganized and unprofessional. Disorganized - For example, he talked about an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in the appointment, but as the date for the procedure neared it became clear that he had mistakenly only scheduled the endoscopy. It is much easier and more efficient to have both tests run in the same procedure. When asked again about it (after about 4 phone calls to finally get a call back) he admitted that he had forgotten about the colonoscopy. On one occasion he also ordered the incorrect blood tests. Unprofessional - His response time to return phone calls is in excess of a week. It is one thing to be busy, but more than a day to return a message is unprofessional in any setting.

If you want a doctor that gives excellent explanations and diagnosis, then Dr. DeMeo is the doctor for you. His staff is very courteous. The service level in all aspects is excellent.
