Dr. Mark Andrew Dodson, MD

After having a car wreck which broke my wrist, I went to another doctor first. Even though I had a bad break, I only got to see the NP who said I would be scheduled for surgery that week. I asked to see the doctor but could not! Dissatisfied with scheduled surgery by a man I could not even consult, I scheduled a visit with Dr. Dodson. He saw me the next day, showed me the X-rays and gave me his recommendation. He told me that the treatment the NP had scheduled would have left my fingers immobilized! Long story short, Dodson did my surgery and now my wrist is healed. I never had to wait for more than 10 minutes in his office. He answered all my questions but was limited in giving more info than what I wished to discuss. I mentioned his rating comments to him, and he said that he could talk a lot or see more patients and keep their waits minimal. I appreciate that efficient attitude!

Dr. Dodson isn't a "cut first" surgeon neither will he just tell you what you want to hear.

Doctor Dodson seems very knowledgeable. He is a to the point type of guy so don't plan on having long drawn out conversations with him. It doesn't really matter to me as long as he fixes the problem. I have had to use him twice and both times the problems were resolved. I was present when a friend of mine broke his leg. It was grossly deformed and I doubted he would ever walk correctly again. Doctor Dodson fixed it and it's as if it never happened. I've also listened to patients in the waiting room and all I have heard is good. If your feelings get hurt because the doctor doesn't spend a lot of time with you he is probably not for you. If you want your orthopedic issue fix or made better he is your man.

Waited over an hour. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. Recommended surgery and no other options and never examined my knee. Went elsewhere
