This was one of the most disturbing and unprofessional telehealth experiences I’ve ever witnessed. If a zero-star rating were possible, that’s exactly what this appointment deserves. My wife is very ill and could barely speak during the appointment. When I respectfully asked if I could speak on her behalf to help explain what was going on, Dr. Mark Durfee responded, “If she can’t speak, she can go to the hospital.” There was no compassion, no attempt to understand the situation, and no effort to help in any way. As my wife became understandably frustrated due to his refusal to assist, he accused her of “yelling,” which was completely inaccurate and dismissive of her condition. The interaction felt cold, accusatory, and demeaning to someone who was clearly suffering. We ultimately ended the call because the situation was going nowhere and was causing more distress than help. If you are looking for a physician who shows empathy, listens, or treats very sick patients with basic human… decency, do not book with this provider. This experience was unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

Mark Durfee is the absolute worst dr have ever encountered. I took my son to urgent care in Plymouth for a lingering cough, Durfee proceeded to verbally shame me, gave me false information about medication, spoke over me for the 5 mins we were with him, and all he did for my son was listen to his lungs. This is our second negative interaction with this dr and I am appalled that he is employed and actively practicing. It’s apparent he does not care about his patients and is an egotistical, incompetent, judgmental jerk.

Very rude !! Can’t believe he is in emergency medicine!!! Suggested I treat myself!

Doesn't enter the room when treating patients, judgement of patients inappropriate and shared with other staff. Ordered sensitive tests without patient approvals By far, the worst manner and treatment of patients.
