Dr. Mark Dursztman, MD

Dr. Dursztman is one of the kindest, gentlest, smartest and incisive people I've ever known. Hard to beat that combination in a doctor. I always feel like I'm in superb hands with him and I always feel that he truly cares not just for me but about me. He gives you as much time as you need. His is not an assembly line or hamster wheel practice. The world needs more like him.

Nothing to add! Amazing in every respect from bedside manner to clinician. Fortunately in the 12 years I have been seeing Dr. Dustzman nothing serious has cropped up, but I am sure he'd be right by my side if needed.

Dr. Dursztman is a wonderful and compassionate physician. Probably the best listener I've ever encountered in healthcare; a man who understands that physician bedside manner is not a customer-service nicety. It affects health. And in his case, it redounds to the benefit of his patients' health. Highly recommended.

I remember our family doctor in the 1960s-- whip-smart, kind, gentle, funny, accessible. Reassuring when he was able to be. Heroic when he needed to be. Nobody has a doctor like that anymore. That's why I was pleasantly shocked to have been referred to Dr. Dursztman by a business colleague. He takes as much time as you need, he's a brilliant diagnostician, has a wonderful gentlemanly manner and is an extremely witty guy. Also, I've never had a doctor better at explaining medical things in understandable terms. (I'm no dummy, but I'm no doctor either...) Fortunately, I haven't had anything medically complicated so far, but I'm quite sure that if that ever happens, I'll be in the best possible position with my trusty doctor in my corner.

Right away, I could tell he was super smart. But also disarmingly funny. And compassionate. Most doctors I've seen over the years seem rushed, curt and even burned out. But Dr. Durtzman is the exact opposite. I wish more doctors were like him, but I'm glad to have found at least this one superb doc!

Dr. Dursztman is s master diagnostician. Before coming to see him, I was misdiagnosed by several doctors. He seemed to zero right in on a diagnosis nobody had considered and he wound up being right and saved me from untold suffering. He's also an all round great guy-- very even tempered, great sense of humor, takes a real interest in you as a person, and takes care to follow up. Great skill and humanism-- is there anything better in a doctor? He's the best!

Smartest and most compassionate doctor I know. I hate going to doctors but I almost look forward to seeing Dr. Dursztman. He always puts me at ease and he's gotten me through more than one serious illness over the years. He's a treasure, and a rare breed. I'm lucky to have found him (recommended by a co-worker).
