Dr. Mark W Dwyer, MD

Warning to others about Dr. Dwyer, he does NOT care about his elderly patients. My senior mother went to the ER on July 14th because she could not walk due to severe knee pain. She was sent home with Norco and told to follow up with her knee surgeon. We scheduled with Dr. Dwyer for August 8th. Just two days before, he suddenly cancelled and pushed her appointment out to August 29th, leaving her in agony and struggling to walk, which I believe is even affecting her circulation. We waited anyway, only for Dr. Dwyer to call TODAY and casually cancel AGAIN, saying he can’t see her until NOVEMBER. November! That’s almost four months after her ER visit. My mom was left in tears and complete distress. We may have to put her in a nursing home now just to wait for another knee surgeon. This level of disregard for an elderly patient who is suffering and barely mobile is absolutely unacceptable. It feels like he couldn’t care less about her pain, her health, or her quality of life. They only… offered her another doctor on September 12th, which is still far too long for someone in her condition. If you care about timely and compassionate treatment for your loved ones, do not put your trust in Dr. Dwyer.

Dr. Dwyer was very knowledgeable, explained the surgery very well, listened to my concerns and has a great bedside manner!

Dr. Dwyer is a great surgeon that replaced my 63 year old left hip on Jan 2, 2025 and I will be returning to work on Mar 3, 2025. This was outpatient surgery he and his team performed on me. They all did a great job of putting me at ease pre and post OP. Dr. Dwyer insured that I understood each and every aspect of my upcoming procedure. The knowledge and skillset are phenomenal. He and his staff are very easy to talk with. He is also quite honest when discussing your situation and its possible outcomes. I have had to other major surgeries, Right Achilles, Right Fibula and Tibia, and my full hip replacement was by far less painful and much easier to recover from and I attribute it, once again to the knowledge and skillset of Dr. Dwyer and his team. Dr. Mark performed torn meniscus arthroscopic surgery for me. It went tremendously well and his followup visit was greatly appreciated! I would-will always have Dr. Mark at the top of my list for any future surgery needs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HE & HIS STAFF!

I recommend Dr. Dwyer and his Team for hip replacement. He replaced both of my hips three months apart and I was able to dance a Polka eight weeks after my last surgery!

I highly recommend Dr Dwyer. He performed both of my hip replacement surgeries. Both surgeries were successful and free from complications. All pre and post surgery appointments were thorough and all my questions were answered. He has a friendly professional manner.

Dr Dwyer and his staff are AMAZING. He did my right knee replacement and it turned out awesome. Will be getting left one done in Jan. A very honest, helpful and caring man. I was truly blessed to find him.
